Main Street

Text on front reads: "Main Street, Schleisingerville, Wis." An unpaved street lined with businesses and homes. The sidewalks are both cement and wooden boardwalks. People are standing on the sidewalks on both sides of the street in the background, and a barefoot young boy wearing a hat is standing on the sidewalk in the right foreground. Three boys and a dog are standing in the crosswalk near a parked automobile. The building across the street on the far left has a barber pole in front of the corner entrance. Further down the street on the left is what appears to be a hardware store with farm implements displayed on the sidewalk, and a furniture store. The name of the town was changed to Slinger in 1921. |
