Hyde's Mill

Text on front, at the foot: "Wisconsin." The color image of Hyde's Mill has an overlay of a map of the southwest corner of Wisconsin inside a red frame. The background fades from olive green at the top to forest green at the foot. Text on the reverse: "SW Wisconsin Map. Hyde's Mill is located approximately 6 miles north of Ridgeway, WI, on Country Hwy. H in southern Wisconsin. The southwest region of Wisconsin is referred to as the uplands due to its unglaciated landscape. The early Swiss, Norwegian and German immigrants settled this region of the state since it reminded them of their homeland." Hyde's Mill stone dam was built in 1850 on Mill Creek. |
