Municipal Swimming Pool

The pool was located in Krouskop Park, on the Pine River Millpond backed up by the Parfrey Dam. The Dam was removed after 1990. A large recreation building can be seen on the shore. There are hills in the background. |

"The dam hasn't been in Richland Center since the 1990s when it was removed. That is when the mill pond ceased to exist. The municipal pool shown in the picture was located in the area of Krouskop Park near where the current tennis courts are located. Another way to describe its location would be at the north end of Jefferson Street next to the Pine River." |
