There are advertising signs for "Owl Cigar" and "Swift's Pride Soap and Washing Powder" on the side wall of a building on the far left. The storefronts behind the horse and buggy have signs that read: "Frank Youngbajer Smoke Store", N. W. Heintz, Pharmacist", and the storefront on the far right has a sign that reads: "Robarge & Schneider". All of the businesses have awnings and signs indicating the names.
