Cuff at Hernkind's
A portable horse-driven sorghum mill, owned by the Cuff family, has been set up at the August Hernkind farm. Two horses are hitched to the tree trunk that turns the mill. Two men at left work to feed cane into the rollers, and a boy, center, is holding a bucket. A man at right is standing at the steaming evaporator pan. There are farm buildings and a windmill in the background. |
