Old Wade House

Two people are walking on the brick courtyard at the Old Wade House, a Wisconsin Historical Society site. The Old Wade House, one of the earliest stagecoach inns in Wisconsin, was built between 1847 and 1851 by Sylvanus Wade. It became the most important stop on the plank road between Sheboygan and Fond du Lac. |
