Flood at Dates Mill
Water from French Creek covers the surface of a bridge at Dates Mill near the Marquette-Columbia County line as water rushes down a lane in the pasture in the background. Several men, boys, and two women are on the bridge. The caption on the negative envelope states: "Mae, Leta [Von der Sump] and the boys on the bridge at Dates." There is a shed at right and cows in the background at left. It appears that a portion of the bridge has been swept away, and there is a damaged fence at left. |
