On the reverse side of postcard text at top reads: "Another -- 'alaska joe' original." At bottom left text reads: "Originally hunters were elevated this way to see over ice ridges to spot game. Alaska Airlines Photograph." Handwritten message reads: "Anchorage, Alaska. July 21 Dear Eleanor - How are you this summer. Hope you are having good weather. Today is beautiful here. Wish you could see the many flowers. We saw a blanket toss when we were in Kotzebue. With best wishes to you and Davis. Josephine." |
