Will and Car | Photograph | Wisconsin Historical Society
Will von der Sump posing standing beside a 1912 Ford Model T Touring car. He is wearing dress slacks, a white shirt, necktie and leather driving gauntlets. His sisters Leta, in the front seat, and Mae, in back, are passengers in the car. The young man in the back seat is not identified. A sickle bar mower is standing in the background. A "Browning" pennant is attached to the windshield support. The area in southern Marquette county where the Von der Sump farm was located was identified as Browning because a local post office bore that name.
