Madison Barbershop Quartet Singers Make Donation to the Empty Stocking Club
Madison barbershop quartet singers make a $350.00 donation to the Empty Stocking Club. The amount represents one half of the proceeds from the group's "Quarter Christmas Card" performance held at the West High School auditorium. JoAnne Beier (right), women's editor of the Wisconsin State Journal accepts the check on behalf of the Empty Stocking Club from (L-R) Pat O'Leary and Mrs. Dorothy Bleecker, co-chairmen of the show; and John J. Tschudy, president of the Madison Men's Barbershop Quartet chapter. |
