Adams County Supermarket
Three men visit at the corner of the Plainville Grocery. There are many signs and logos on the storefront: "Coca-Cola," "Peerless Beer," "Model Smoking Tobacco," "Copenhagen Chew," "Wadhams Sinclair," "Bire-ley's Orange," "Dad's Root Beer," "Chesterfield," "Lucky Strike," "Nesbit's Orange," "7-Up," "Old Dutch Cleanser," "Leverich for State Senator," and "Philip Morris." Comment from photographer: "This old country store is typical of so many of the Adams County stores. I only wish it were possible to photograph the inside." |
