Women Scientists Inspire High School Girls
Demonstrating the Navy Research laboratory's electronic computer to a high school student is, seated, experimental physicist, Dr. Anneke Levelt. Dr. Levelt is on leave from the University of Amsterdam, Holland. She and the student are participants in a program in which members of Madison's Beta chapter of Sigma Delta Epsilon, an international organization for women doing independent scientific research, work with a group of high school girls chosen for their outstanding aptitude and interest in science. |
