A Big 'Pipe Job'
It takes a special "plumber" to put together pipes the size of these being installed in the heating tunnel under construction on N. Charter Street to carry steam from the new UW heating plant to the university distribution system at the old plant. The pipes have inside diameters of 18 to 20 inches. |
