Women Scientists Inspire High School Girls
Working with two West High students in a chemical research laboratory of the U. W. Medical School, is Dr. Anna Maria Williams, center. At left, Mary Sedgwick, performs a lab test and at right Marjorie Kowitz works on an apparatus. They are participants in a program in which members of Madison's Beta chapter of Sigma Delta Epsilon, an international organization for women doing independent scientific research, work with a group of high school girls chosen for their outstanding aptitude and interest in science. |
