Dormitory Room
A well worn sofa and oriental-style rug furnish a high-ceilinged parlor in a dormitory at Yale University. Above the sofa is a large banner reading "YALE 1939" flanked by two pennants. The pennant at right has a seal and the letters M.C.D.S., representing Milwaukee Country Day School; at left is a "WISCONSIN" pennant. The photographer's son, Herbert E. Brumder, was a freshman at Yale University when this photograph was taken. |
