Herbert P. Brumder and his family traveled to the western United States in the summer of 1935. The luggage with the A.J.B. monogram may have belonged to Herbert's older brother Alfred Julius Brumder, who died of heart disease in 1887 at age 23 while a senior at Yale Law School. |
