Philip was the son of Herbert P. and Margaret Bouer Brumder, and grandson of Milwaukee publisher and businessman George Brumder and his wife Henriette Brandhorst Brumder. As an adult, Philip served as president and C.E.O. of Applied Power Corporation, later known as Actuant. |
