| Original caption reads: "International Harvester's 8-acre exposition depicting 'Harvester's 100 Years in Chicago' shares space with famous Soldier Field on Chicago's lakefront in this striking aerial photo taken from the Goodyear blimp. A portion of the 73,000 Sunday crowd that jammed the exhibit on this sunny October day can be seen lined up to enter the historic 'Streets of Chicago' display. Outdoors in the gigantic tent is a showing of farm equipment, motor trucks and industrial power equipment, other thousands inspect many Harvester products. The exposition, continuing until November 2, marks the 100th anniversary of the erection of the first McCormick factory in Chicago." |
