Christmas 1931
An electrically lighted Christmas tree is standing near the bow window in the home of Herbert P. and Margaret Bouer Brumder at 2030 East Lafayette Place. The tree is trimmed with tinsel and glass ornaments. Wrapped gifts are piled in a chair near the tree. There is a toy power boat and erector set at left, near a poinsettia plant. A portrait of the Brumder's daughter Barbara with the family Springer Spaniel is hanging over the fireplace. At right are a grand piano and radio. |
