| The photographer's wife, Margaret Bouer Brumder, is standing in the foreground on the left, as her daughter, further back, is skating toward her. There are other children on the ice, including a boy sitting on a chair at right. Small evergreen trees are protruding from the snow piles around the perimeter of the rink. In the background is the rear facade of a block of three-story row houses which have a two-story rear extension. Beyond a fence at left is a tall brick commercial building; there are other buildings in the background. |
