Mike Falconer, Milwaukee Braves Fan
Mike Falconer (17), 626 Eugenia Avenue, an avid Milwaukee Braves fan, receives an autographed baseball from the team. Mike, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Falconer, suffered a spine injury in a fall at Medford, WI in April 1957 which paralyzed him from the waist down. A West High senior, Mike takes instruction daily via a telephonic setup at his bedside. Shown (L-R) are: Madison Police Sgt. Robert L. Ferris, Mike's neighbor; Falconer; and Joseph (Roundy) Coughlin, who delivered the ball on Mike's birthday. |
