House at Pine Lake

A photographic postcard of Henrietta Brumder's two and one-half story, wood frame summer home at Pine Lake. Henrietta was the widow of Milwaukee publisher and businessman George Brumder (1839-1910) who had the house built in 1893. Vines are growing on the large porches which are on three sides of the house, and there are awnings over the second floor windows. A large shrub is blooming in the yard and there are spruce trees in the background. The lake is out of view, to the right. |
