"This is Art" Poster
Poster of Art Nesson, a well-known figure on State Street. Art made his living as a window washer, dishwasher and manual laborer. He is leaning on a mailbox along West Gilman Street. There is a broom propped up behind him and he is waving to the camera. Behind him is a "Stop" and a "One Way" sign at the corner. Pedestrians, including a man riding a bike, and a woman pushing a stroller, are on the street and sidewalks. Across the street is the Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream Store on State Street. Text at the foot reads: "THIS IS ART." |
