Bobby Jones

Bobby Jones (Arena) is receiving an award for his life-saving efforts in the Governor's Office on March 18th, 1958. Bobby is showing his father the award and standing next to Governor Thomson. On September 9, 1957, four persons, including school child Janet Linley, were injured when two cars collided with an Arena school bus on Highway 14. Other pupils escaped injury when Bobby Jones, an older pupil, prevented them from going into the roadway. |
