Workers Cleaning Seeds

A roomful of workers are cleaning seeds using "The Clipper Cleaners" manufactured by A.T. Ferrell & Co., Saginaw, Michigan. The machines are arranged in four rows with headrests and lights added. The workers in the foreground are young women. In the background two men are overseeing the workers. Buckets and and other containers are sitting on the floor for seeds and debris. The company also manufactured "Picking Tables, Seed Polishers and Hand Cleaners for High Grade Work." Patent date on machine, "B.P. Pat'd June 10, 1902." |
