According to Shan Holt, Lucy Holt's great granddaughter, in August 2018, "Chasing frogs was a favorite (inhumane!) pastime on the Island, especially near the beaches, where they tended to congregate in the reeds. My sister Kim Holt Chotzen was the champion frogger of her generation. For several decades in the 80s-00s, few frogs were seen, but they’ve been coming back in recent years." |
