On the right is a carport framed by stone walls; on the left is an upper and lower level with balcony access, where a closed yellow umbrella stands. There are birdhouses near the balcony, and a tall television antenna is on the roof. The property has a sprawling lawn with trees and garden beds close to the foundation. The home was built in 1963 and designed by the architect, Paul A. Thomas III, who taught in the Architecture and City and Regional Planning program at Illinois Institute of Technology. Ken Harley was the original owner from 1963 to 1975. |
