Red Cross Gay Ladies Mrs. H.C. Jackson (4014 Council Crest) holding a Butterick magazine, and Mrs. Walter Price (3825 Council Crest) (reflected in mirror) serve as sewing instructors at the Wisconsin Diagnostic Center at 1552 University Avenue. The center was under the supervision of the Mental Hygiene Division of the State Department of Public Welfare and connected with the University of Wisconsin Medical School as a training ground for medical students and future psychiatrists. |
