Pine Lake Bathhouse
A small bathhouse is standing among trees on the shore of Pine Lake on George Brumder's property. There is ornate fretwork in the gable ends. A sign on the front reads: "Bathhouse"; "Ladies" is written on another sign on the door. Brumder's son-in-law, Hugo C. Maercker, is seen in profile to the left of the structure. He appears to be sitting at the slope of the shoreline. On the right next to the bathhouse is a plank nailed between two trees to form a bench. A simple pier or diving platform is over the water just beyond the bench to the right. |
