George F. Brumder Residence
View across street towards an automobile parked in front of the George F. Brumder residence, which was built in 1910 on the corner of Grand (now Wisconsin) Avenue and 31st Street. The two and one-half story brick home, on a low hill rising above the sidewalk, features a large porch on the left and a prominent first story bay window, with a similar but smaller window on the second story. The house has three large chimneys, and a curved wall in the corner on the right. On the left, there are large houses facing 31st Street. A lamppost is standing near the sidewalk and steps leading up to the house; snow is covering the ground. |
