Information with photograph reads: "TD-24 Diesel crawler tractor and Bucyrus-Erie bulldozer stripping up to 25 feet of overburden from a 24 x 30 foot seam of coal. This coal is of high quality, known at Black Creek, and is lying at a steep angle, unusual for bituminous coal. Some photos show the TD-24 pushing a full blade of dirt up the slope. Equipment owned by Calvert & Youngblood, Trafford, Ala." |
