The hospital was built in 1889 and expanded in 1897, 1906 and 1933. This building was sold to Johnson Wax in 1977 to be used as part of its headquarters. The hospital moved to Spring St. at that time. From the back of the card: St. Mary's Hospital is a modern 224 bed Hospital operated and maintained by the Franciscan Sisters. It has given outstanding service to the community. |
