Democratic Party State Convention
The biggest demonstration of the second day of the State Democratic Party Convention at the Central High School auditorium for Philleo Nash of Wisconsin Rapids. Nash, the incumbent, opposed Patrick J. Lucey for the chairmanship of the Democratic Party, but Lucey won the election by a close vote of 692-687. One man in the crowd is playing an accordion and others are holding political signs. |
