| Jeannette Holt is the daughter of Lucy and W.A. Holt. According to Shan Holt, great granddaughter of Lucy Holt, in August 2018, "Note the unpeeled upper half of the log supporting the porch at the corner, to the left in the photo. The whole house was originally built of unpeeled logs, which rotted and had to be replaced in the 1930s. Thank goodness there were still lumberjacks around to help." |
