Garbage "Battle" Continues
Signs protesting city annexation activities and city extension of services to the 21st ward, greeted city garbage and rubbish truck drivers as they made their first runs into the far west side area. A sign posted by Anti-Annexation Committee to the trunk of a tree reads, "All town services continued here. Don't sign before you give up what you have. Think! Don't sign." A place sign in the foreground reads "Merrill Springs" with an arrow. |
