Picking a Homegrown Peach
Edward H. Unger at 4606 Wallace Avenue on the East Side picks a peach from a tree in his backyard that he planted as a peach stone four years ago. His harvest this year will yield about a bushel. The tree has so many peaches he needs to prop up the branches with sticks. |
