Lunch Time Jewelry Store Robbery
Sidewalk view of manager Gordon Grinde surveying window display jewel trays emptied by thieves. While Grinde, manager of Templin jewelery store, 127 State Street, had locked the store and gone for lunch, three "professional thieves" broke in and stole $25,000 worth of diamond and emerald rings and unset stones from window displays and an unlocked safe. Wrist watches and other rings remained. |
