Removal of Pedestrian Safety Islands on University Avenue
Pedestrian safety islands at University Avenue and Brooks Street were raised concrete islands (referred to as "meat-blocks") and are being removed to possibly be replaced with flat islands, if considered necessary. Students are seen waiting in the middle of the road for traffic to pass. |
