Located diagonally in the center of Capitol Park. The dome is the second highest in America, the Capitol in Washington, D.C., being only several feet higher. Constructed entirely of White Bethel Vermont Granite, the hardest and most durable stone used. Interior finished with choice marble, imported from various parts of the world." |
