Crew Laying Railroad Tracks
Stereograph of a railroad crew laying tracks. The ties are in place and the rails are being positioned on the first level. The bank behind the crew is terraced, and logs are resting on the third level. The men are standing or sitting on levels one, two and three. On the second level, steam is blowing from a pipe, with more pipe stacked all around. Some buildings can be seen above the fourth level. Hand-written on reverse: "Front view of Florence mine." |
