Wisconsin Historical Society Museum Pharmacy
View of the pharmacy installation. It includes furnishings, equipment, and other stock supplies found at a druggist came from stores around Wisconsin. Several cabinets and shelves hold labelled glass jars and lidded containers of chemical ingredients and prepared drugs. There are also countless drawers for filling prescriptions. In the middle of this exhibit is a long counter with glass display case to show other paraphernalia used by pharmacists, such as a brass scale with weights and measures, mortar and pestle, and fragile hand-blown glass instruments; there is also a rotating advertisement for Peerless Dyes. |
