Madison Curling Club

Two members of the Madison Curling Club during an intra-club competition. Norm Sonju (left) and Gil Bach survey shots made by members of their rinks. Bach, looking down at the floor of four concentric circles, is holding a broom in his hand, the end of which is lying to the side of two curling stones. Sonju is looking up with a cigarette in his mouth, and his hands behind his back. They are each wearing white (or cream) colored sweaters, gloves, slacks, and distinctive hats. An American flag is hanging on the wall behind them between score cards. |
