Sand Dune
View across standing water in a swale at the foot of a large sand dune. A tall, leafless tree is reflected in the pools. The dune appears to have engulfed the trunks of some trees in the background. The caption on the reverse of the print reads: "View of a huge sand dune at the newly acquired Two Rivers state park area, Two Rivers, Manitowoc County, Wisconsin." The permanent name for that park is Point Beach State Forest, which was established in 1938. |
