Comet Engine Cutaway View with Female Model

Comet Engine Cutaway View with Female Model | Photograph | Wisconsin Historical Society
3-D cutaway view of the mechanical substructure and configuration of a Comet aircraft engine showcased with a female model. The engine is partially encased in a rectangular frame that replicates the crankcase. A cylinder and its two valves jut out at the top and the cam and pistons are housed in the frame. A propeller shaft protrudes from the side of crankcase.

The model is wearing a 1920s black, long-sleeved dress with silk or satin sleeves and skirt, drop waist and embellishments. She is also wearing a beaded necklace, and with her hair loosely styled in Marcel waves.
