Woman in Skiff
An unidentified woman, wearing a hat and standing in a skiff is aiming a gun toward the shore of the mill pond (Montello Lake). The printed inscription on the front of the card reads: "At the head of Mill Pond — Photo'd and printed by Miss Kaufmann — Montello, Wis." The handwritten message is: "How is your Mamma? Madge started for Chicago yesterday. Do any of you folk go down? We are all O.K. Jennie D —." The card was sent to Miss Marion Kendall, Merrill, Wis. |
