A view of the dining room in the shelter house at Point Beach State Forest. There are sturdy log picnic tables set with glasses, silverware and tablecloths. The bench seats are single split logs. There is a bay at the end of the room with a raised stage and piano. The walls are bare stone, and there are rustic log chandeliers overhead. |

The shelter house, located on the Lake Michigan shore, is also called the Harrington Lodge, administration building, or recreation building.
