After the Fire
Two logging roads diverge in a stand of burned jack pine trees, dividing the scene into three parts. In the background, near the left branch of the road, there are two men partially obscured by smoke. One of the men is working with a shovel. There is also a small focus of smoke in the foreground. On the reverse of the photograph is the description: "Burned over area where forest fire burned miles of jack-pine timber in Douglas County." |
