Several boys in hockey uniforms are walking outside an entrance holding signs, which read: "We are not asking for the state to support us, we are just asking for them to keep our [...]," "One Indoor Rink for A[...]," "Kids on ice Don't Get into Hot Water," "I want to play hockey, but where?!?!?," and "One Indoor Rink For All! Be Serious." Other people are standing or sitting in the background. Caption reads: "Skaters want rink saved. Members of the Waukesha County Youth Hockey Association carried signs as they picketed Friday outside the Dairy Building at State Fair Park. The Fair Board was meeting inside on the fate of the fair's ice arena. After hearing representatives of ice skating groups, the board postponed a decision on the rink. Officials have proposed closing the rink at the end of the season and preparing the buildings for other uses." |
