Wedding of Mildred Ormsby and Harrison Green in a Church
Overview of the wedding ceremony of Mildred Ormsby (1872-1964) and Harrison S. Green, an attorney, at the St. James Episcopal Church, Milwaukee, on the afternoon of June 16, 1897. According to a newspaper account, Mildred had the church decorated with pink and white peonies and pink ribbons. Her bridesmaids wore dresses of pink net over white taffeta while holding bouquets of sweet peas and maidenhair ferns. |
