The bronze star is awarded posthumously to Private First Class Thomas E. Broome for bravery in action in Vietnam. Broome's father Stanley Broome is accepting the medal from Lt. Ron Weindel at the Sun Prairie American Legion Clubhouse. DESCRIPTION
